Hi everyone, I back after the completion and review of my debrief and plans. With a small break between essay hells, I being enjoying my free time by doing work on the game this last week. I be testing out some new changes made, at WAGIC's Let's Break Games on Sunday November the 3rd so if your free come down and get a look at the game and fellow games by the members of WAGIC.

Slingshot

The Slingshot has been coded into the game, from remnants of a buggy bow firing mechanics with fixes to these bugs being completed. This is being kept quite simple and straight forward to test how complex it needs to be. The most complex element is the camera moving forward and back from position which has been unlocked to continue resolving the bugs with this component.

Area Loader

The biggest addition in this week has been the development of the area loader. This area loader allows levels to be broken down into section and loaded in at a collection at time. It works, with the use of Unity scenes by having a principal scene(section) which contain the player and all base data required by the play state of the game. This principal scene is all ways loaded unless players are on the menu screen. The next stage for the level loader is the current scene, this is the section which the players should current be in, exiting or entering. After this if this level acts a bridge between to large levels, then it simple be this current section and the principal scene. Otherwise, the levels will have all possible exits scenes/section loaded in as well to prevent the gameplay down time between unloading and loading scenes
